Zebra Sarasa Nano Gel Pen 0.3mm
 
The Sarasa Nano is Zebra's answer to a question many journal keepers had been asking: can a 0.3mm gel pen actually be smooth? The answer, it turns out, is yes — thanks to a spring built into the pen's core, known as the Urufuwa Cushion, which absorbs the slight pressure variations of fine-tip writing and keeps the ink flowing steadily without the scratchiness that usually comes with ultra-fine nibs. The ink itself is a water-based pigment gel that is feather and water resistant with excellent lightfastness, and the four colours available here — Dark Gray, Camel Yellow, Bordeaux Purple, and Green Black — are part of the much-admired vintage palette that has made the Nano a favourite among stationery enthusiasts who write small and care about colour.
