The Ballsign iD Plus was awarded the Grand Prize at the Japanese Stationery Awards 2022, and it is easy to understand why.
Where the standard Ballsign iD leans minimal, the Plus takes things a step further — a matte black hexagonal body with a metallic grip, a lowered centre of gravity for natural balance in the hand, and a reinforced metal nib tip for lasting precision. The steel clip doubles as the click mechanism and is marked with a coloured section identifying the ink colour, which here means a choice of Pure Black (a clean, true black), Night Black (a deep blue-black), or Forest Black (a rich green-black). Three very different moods, all writing beautifully with 0.5mm water-based pigment gel ink.
