The KOKUYO PERPANEP Preppy is a collaboration between KOKUYO and Platinum — the PERPANEP name is a deliberate anagram of 'pen' and 'paper', a series built around the idea of finding the right pen for the right paper.
 
The pen itself is Platinum's classic Preppy in an all-white body exclusive to this edition, with PERPANEP lettering along the barrel and a fine 0.3mm stainless steel nib that responds particularly well to textured paper surfaces, transmitting the subtle unevenness of the page back through the nib in a way that makes writing feel more considered and intentional. The Slip and Seal cap mechanism prevents the nib from drying out, even after long periods between uses. One black ink cartridge is included.
