Designer's Inspiration behind:
When designing the ‘Mail’ series of washi tapes, I kept thinking about what carries lots and lots of messages.
In the end, I thought of flowers. We often use flowers to express a multitude of emotions, gratitude, apologies, congratulations, or everyday whispers. On top of that, many flowers have their own symbolic meanings, which made them the perfect inspiration for a tape that carries messages.
With the loose, expressive strokes of oil pastels paired with casual handwritten text, this washi tape brings to life a paper full of messages called Message.
